SWEET SIXTEEN (literally.)

GUESS WHO TURNED SIXTEEN YESTERDAY.

That's right, it's me!!! Let's all rejoice!

Although I still had to study for finals and you know, do life, it was still a pretty decent birthday because (1) no one forgot it was my birthday, (2) I got a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme, and (3) I had Chick-Fil-A for dinner. What more can you ask for?! That's the perfect birthday if you ask me.

I didn't have a big, fancy sweet sixteen party like everyone normally does. Instead, me and a few of my closest friends stayed in the sun all day long (and we have the sunburns to prove it) playing volleyball, listening to good music, and watching manatees.

IT WAS TIME FOR A CHANGE, SO...

 As I keep reminding you, fall is here!!! And I decided that with fall here, it was time for a change. But before I could just whip up some change, I needed inspiration. And where do you go for inspiration? Pinterest, my friends!

So I'm scrolling through my Pinterest feed and I'm seeing lots of fall pins of girls surrounded by beautiful, colorful trees while in dresses and tights and comfy sweaters. And glasses!

I have always had a hard time understanding that with the right pair of glasses, you're able to see clearly and look cute. I ended up hating my first pair, but I guess second time's a charm for me, because so far I'm loving these glasses! 

Change can be scary sometimes, but other times, it's not so bad!

Because without it, I'd have no idea what to do for my Easter outfit.

So basically, my whole outfit right here is from Target.

Anyway, let's try to remember not to focus too much on the eggs, candy, and cute little bunnies. Jesus died for all of us on the cross, because he loved us. That, my friends, is what we need to remember.

In case you were wondering, I have had a blog before. But I grew tired of it and decided it was time for us to go our separate ways. But then I just randomly decided to make a new one, to start fresh.
All that to say, since this is a new blog, here's a little information about me!

I'm a shorty. I'm about 5'2". That might not seem too short, but all of my friends are taller than me. Also, my mom just recently told me that I probably won't grow anymore in my entire life. Lovely! So I'll be craining my neck to look at people forever.
My fears? Gosh, I haven't really given this any thought. Um, you could say I'm afraid of spiders, snakes, the usual stereotype teenage girl fears. Oh, and also mosquitos! I'm sorry, but those things creep me out. I hate them. It's scary how light they are and how they can bite you without you even feeling it.
Celebrity crush...I don't really have crushes on celebrities, just because I know it will never happen, so I don't fool myself. But I've got to say that Troye Sivan, the youtuber, is really cute. But like I said, I know it'll never be because...I just know. If you know anything about him, you'll know too.
In my purse. I always have a bucket load of junk in my purse, including make up, my keys, wallet, a cardigan, a few pens, perfume, a mirror, shall I go on?
Pet peeves? There's a lot of them. Okay, I don't like it when there's loose hairs on the backs of people. I just hate looking at them! Also, I'm very particular about chewing. If I can hear someone chewing from across the room, I go insane. There's a bunch more but this post would get too long if I listed them all.
Stuff on my bucket list. I really want to go to Paris and buy a beret. I want to go to London and ride the London Eye. I want to go to Hawaii and wear a flower in my hair. Basically everything on my buck list is traveling to places.
My basic daily routine. I get up at about 8:30 in the morning, eat a donut or some other fatty food for breakfast, watch a few Everybody Loves Raymond episodes, do some homework, then reward myself by writing in my journal a little. Sometimes I go for a bike ride in my neighborhood and look for pretty trees to take pictures of. Then I get on Pinterest for about 5.5 hours or so, and go to bed. Then wake up and do it all over again.
