GREETINGS FROM AN OBVIOUS DONUT LOVER!
Guys, valentines day is in six days. And since I obviously won't have a hot boyfriend to buy me chocolates and roses and all that jazz, I thought, why not treat myself with some delicious (and very photogenic) donuts?
So, I did!!! (wonderful story, right?!)
Also, I advise everyone reading this not to eat three donuts within one hour. I learned this the hard way.
Moral of this post is that you don't need a valentine, as long as you have donuts.

Because cake
I've been taking a cake decorating class with some of my friends for a while now, and let me tell you, our teacher makes all of us look like professionals!! I mean, now I can stack cakes, work with fondant, and even make those cool little flower things! This class is doing wonders!
(By the way, that beautiful cake you see up there is not mine. That cake was made by none other than the very talented Kryn!)
I could go on and on about how much I love cake and that we're soul mates and all that stuff. If we lived in a perfect world, we could eat cake all day long and not gain any weight! Wouldn't that be lovely?!
Anyway, point is that cake and I can't be separated. Peace out, kiddos!

- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Add these dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips.Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375
I'm going to try to bake more, and I'll share the recipes with you as well. It's part of my summer to-do list to experiment more in the kitchen, so we'll see how that goes!
