journal addiction
I've had a journal addiction for quite a long time now. I got my first journal in 2008 or so, and ever since then I can't stop buying them! (In other words, I have way more than I need, and most of them I haven't even written in yet.)
I love this one! The idea of writing an answer to one question and then going back the next year and seeing what you wrote is fantastic. Some of the questions are pretty, though, so be warned!
For instance, I had to think long and hard about this one...
Okay, not that hard, but still.
This right here is my travel journal. I like to keep my normal entries and my traveling entries separate, so that's why I got this. Just to make it easier. Isn't it great?!
And the newest member to my loving family! I adopted her (yes, it's a she) from Target, surprise surprise! Anyway, I'm glad I did because she was the last one of her kind. It looks like a little child scribbled somewhere in the middle, but I overlooked that because this is just such a cute journal. But I have to finish the journal I'm in right now before I can switch to this one. It's one of my rules.
This is the first entry to one of my favorite journals. I saved you from reading it, though, because as I look back on my old journals, I get sad. Sad because I was a strange child. (Was? Who am I kidding. I still am.) Seriously though, there were so many misspelled words and smiley faces and whatnot. Not to mention I tended to jump around from subject to subject.
Okay, enough talk a out my past.
The point of this post was that I am obsessed with journals, and I'm sure you are too, because what is it with bloggers and journals?! It's kind of like the same thing, I guess. Like I said before, a blog is basically like an online journal to me.

LOVE THE JOURNALS. Amen, amen!
ReplyDeleteI love journaling, too. (And I feel your pain about having to wait to start a beautiful new one!) I have a 5 year journal kind of like the first one, except it doesn't ask me questions. That's such a cool idea! I might have to go on the search for one like that. :D
ReplyDeleteI love journals, and I also insist on finishing each one before beginning a new one. I always hurry to finish each one so I can start another!
